Super Quick Kale and Beans Soup with Pastiche™ Tan-Tan Moroccan Spice Blend

You’ll feel very healthy after eating a bowl of this soup, and it’s very easy to make; takes about 10 minutes of actual work and another 20 for cooking. The Tan-Tan gives it a kick and makes it unique!

INGREDIENTS

2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cans (15 oz each) cannellini beans, drained
6 cups chicken stock or vegetable stock
2 bunches of kale, stems removed, and leaves cut into stripes
½ tbsp Pastiche™ Tan-Tan Moroccan Spice Blend
Salt, to taste
Optional:
Slices of country bread
Grated Parmesan

PREPARATION

In a large pot heat the oil and saute the onion on medium heat for about 5-10 minutes, until soft.

While the onion is cooking, pour one can of beans into a bowl and mash with a fork. Add the mashed beans to the pot and mix with the onion.

Add the stock, turn the heat to high and bring to a boil.

When the soup is boiling add the remaining can of beans, kale, and Tan-Tan blend. Cook for an additional 20 minutes.

When ready you can sprinkle the soup with some parmesan and serve with toasted bread, drizzled with olive oil. Very simple and yummy!
