Our spice blends are the result of careful experimentation and balancing of flavors. We use the highest quality spices, all organic and will always opt for the fair trade option when available. We make them in small batches in Brooklyn, to ensure freshness.

We offer a selection of blends that are very different from each other, but can work well together. Please visit us again, as we will be introducing new blends seasonally.

You can use our spice blends in many different ways:

  • Mix into stews, soups, tajines, couscous, rice, or lentils
  • Add a pinch to yogurt, olive oil, or hummus
  • Use as a rub or marinade for grilling or roasting meat, fish, and vegetables
  • Mix in with ground meat to make patties or kebob

    A very bold and spiky mix that will elevate any meat dish to a whole new level! Best for anything that requires a quick roast on the grill or in the oven. Just sprinkle it and let the magic happen! It is spicy and has a dominant flavor but not overpowering, and will add depth of flavor to your food. Will also add a crunchy crust to your meat.

            Ras el Hanout literally means top-shelf in Arabic, implying a mixture of the best spices the seller has to offer. A North-African spice mix that is pungent and sweet, and can be used in a variety of dishes, savory and sweet. There’s no one way of making Ras el-Hanout, each family or shop has their own way of making it. Pastiche’s version is a fine balance between 12 spices, which results in a perfect blend which will pique all of your senses.
